5. Agreement: Yes, please have an authorized specialist come to my facility and perform a FREE energy savings and lighting and/or refrigeration evaluation. The evaluation and report will be provided at no cost to me. Signing this application authorizes a Smart Lights specialist or participating contractor to visit my business and perform the evaluation only; it does not obligate me to pay for any future goods or services.* In the unlikely event that any incidental or consequential damage occurs during the evaluation process, each party assumes responsibility for its own negligence, including responsibility for the negligence of its employees, contractors, subcontractors, and agents and for the claims of third parties resulting from such negligence.

6. What Happens After the Evaluation? After reviewing the results of the evaluation, I can choose whether or not to proceed. If I decide to make the recommended upgrades, I will enter into a work order agreement with a participating contractor and will be responsible for paying costs that are not covered by the Smart Lights rebate. If I decide not to upgrade the equipment, I am under no further obligation.

Energy Tips

Recalibrate your electronic thermostats.  Make sure that the time settings accurately reflect when you need heating and cooling.  It is recommended that you set the temperature settings to 76°F for cooling and 68°F for heating.  For even greater energy savings, set the cooling temperature higher and the heating temperature lower, depending on the needs of your employees and business.
