| New California Thermal Rebate Program |

The California Public Utilities Commission approved a new California Solar Initiative (CSI) Solar Thermal Rebate Program on January 21, 2010. The rebate will go into effect on May 1, 2010, and will apply to solar hot water systems (gas or electric) installed after July 15, 2009. It will offer a one time rebate of $12.82 per therm displaced, amounting up to $1,875 for residential systems, and up to $500,000 for commercial systems.

| Recalibrate your electronic thermostats. Make sure that the time settings accurately reflect when you need heating and cooling. It is recommended that you set the temperature settings to 76°F for cooling and 68°F for heating. For even greater energy savings, set the cooling temperature higher and the heating temperature lower, depending on the needs of your employees and business. |
