It offers a one time rebate of $12.82 per therm displaced, up to $1,875 for residential systems. Visit the CPUC for more information.

  • Federal Income Tax Credit (FITC)Effective January 1, 2009, you may qualify for a FITC of up to 30% of the installed system’s costs.  Qualifying equipment must be certified by the Solar Rating Certification Corporation (SRCC)
Financing Strategies. You may be able to finance your system through your mortgage or with construction or home equity loans.  In deciding how to pay for your solar system, consider contract obligations and whether interest payments are tax-deductible.

Energy Tips

Update your exit signs.  Many older exit signs still use incandescent bulbs.  Newer exit signs use LED technology, consuming approximately 1/10th the energy of an older sign and lasting 10's of 1000's of hours longer.  For enhanced safety, consider getting LED exit signs with emergency back-up batteries and safety lamps.
